Empowering neurodivergent minds since 2012

What makes Rare Gem Talent School truly unique is not the creation of a separate curriculum, but our commitment to transforming how the existing national curriculum can serve learners who are too often left behind.
We believe inclusion is not achieved simply by placing children in classrooms—it is achieved through intentional action. At Rare Gem, we deliver the nationally prescribed curriculum through customised teaching approaches that meet learners where they are. Through structured literacy, multisensory instruction, flexible pacing, and strengths-based assessment, we ensure that learners with dyslexia and other invisible learning difficulties can access learning, participate fully, and demonstrate their true potential.
Our learners are taught the same competencies as their peers, but through methods that recognise diverse ways of learning. We maintain high expectations while providing the support, tools, and encouragement needed for every child to succeed.
Rare Gem shows that meaningful inclusion does not depend on expensive systems or separate programmes. It depends on trained teachers, evidence-based practice, respect for learner differences, and the courage to adapt mainstream education with purpose and compassion.
As a model of inclusive education in Kenya, Rare Gem offers a practical and scalable example for schools and systems across Africa and beyond—proving that equity, dignity, and academic excellence can thrive together.
To build a world-class academic centre dedicated to helping Dyslexic students in Kenya, enriching local community members by increasing their awareness of Dyslexia, and building an international community for the purposes of sharing information.
In partnership with education authorities, teachers and medical professionals, we will establish an educational accommodation system throughout Kenya that will create equity and opportunity for neurodiverse children.
